Ascent’s New Home

A New Chapter Begins

Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is preparing for an exciting new chapter. In Fall 2027, our school will open the doors to its permanent campus at 12070 Quebec Street in Thornton, Colorado.

Construction officially began with our groundbreaking ceremony on April 27, 2026, and we look forward to welcoming students into the completed campus in August 2027.

This new home represents more than a new building—it reflects the growth of our school community and our commitment to serving generations of students with a beautiful, purpose-built environment for classical education.

Since opening our doors, New Hills Church has generously welcomed Ascent into its facility and partnered with us as our school community has grown. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality, flexibility, and encouragement during these foundational years.

Our time on the New Hills campus has been marked by tremendous growth—in enrollment, in academic excellence, and in the joyful culture that defines Ascent.

Because of that strong foundation, we are now ready to take the next step: creating a permanent home designed specifically for our students, teachers, and families.

Our New Campus

Every space in the new campus has been thoughtfully planned to support an exceptional classical education today while providing room for tomorrow’s growth.

The new campus will feature:

  • Full-sized gymnasium
  • Dedicated art studio
  • Intentional music classroom
  • Flexible cafeteria and multi-purpose room
  • Athletic field and playground
  • Secure front entrance and welcoming lobby
  • Wrap-around drop-off and pick-up drive
  • Pull-out rooms for individualized and small-group instruction
  • Permanent classrooms with storage
  • Teacher collaboration and office spaces
  • Unfinished space reserved for future science laboratories and storage

A Campus That Grows With Our Students

Having a permanent home allows us to shape every aspect of school life around the needs of our students.

With spaces designed specifically for Ascent, we’ll have new opportunities to:

  • Expand athletics and extracurricular activities
  • Host school assemblies, concerts, and community events
  • Grow our fine arts programs
  • Offer summer programs and special academic opportunities
  • Create learning environments that remain welcoming, beautiful, and inspiring throughout the year
  • Continue strengthening campus safety and security
  • Plan for future growth while preserving the close-knit culture families love

Every improvement is designed with one purpose in mind: helping students flourish in wisdom and virtue. It is an investment in thousands of future students who will read great books, study history, discover mathematics, perform music, compete in athletics, build lasting friendships, and develop the habits of character that prepare them to lead meaningful lives.
